It would be worthwhile removing and examining the flow regulator assembly ( look for a worn/broken plastic part within the unit ) this assembly is in the water path between either side of the diaphragm and when it failes ( like mine did ) the result was EXACTLY as is described here...

Cheers Dan... No its just a standard tap with a turney handle on the top. I did fit a longer version as I suspected it may have been under stress. Also it was a lot easier to fit !!

Do make sure that the cameras can be seen by the crims. Dont hide them as the visual detterent caused by a nice shiney white camera cannot be over emphasized. I have 4 cameras at home here. One at the front door,one at the back door,one that is zoomed to cover the parked cars and a wide angle...

I control a bellbox from a standard rio althogh I cheated a bit and used a relay powered from an output to supply the relavent hold off to the bellbox. Works fine. I also power the battery charger from the 12 volt rail ( supplied from the panel ) and have had NO false alarms in 3 years...

Sounds a bit silly but check the discharge pipe for any restrictions. I have had a similar experience twice with a similar model, each time it was an issue with the outlet pipe. Turning the machine on its side to drain the water then cleared error.

Yes but unlike a car or a PC motherboard mains voltages can kill. I agree that its hardly "rocket science", How can it be that complex as there are very few if any "active" components is a domestic installation.

When my boiler packed in with this it was the little tube clogged up ( as mentioned in earlier post) A bit of wire unplugged it and no bother since then.I did have a problem getting the EV pumped up but eventually used a foot pump with a long extension tube on it. Worked a treat.

Had a peek inside the box today. There are no cables at all going to either the top or the bottom of the MCB's or the RCD. So must be there to fill the holes up :)
