    I gave it a great big heave the other day and the joints all went "crack" now it pretty much fits the hole. the joints are a bit loose though.

    I have a 110 year old house that still has the original doors ( pine panel doors) after removing all the paint and varnish from them ( I did not get them dipped ) ,One of them has developed quite a severe warp, Its twisted so that when the top is against the frame the bottom is a good 4 cm away...

    I dont quite understand... I always understood it was the ratio of the turns that decided the output voltage? The power being drawn by the primary being the same as drawn by the secondary ( Plus iron and copper losses of course ),

Remove and drain the water from an unused upstairs radiator ( in an empty room ) then reconnect it to the system ,open one valve...

    The freezer is on a utility room ring RCBO at the moment and I have had nuicance tripping that has remained even after extensive detective work. There is a dishwasher,washing machine,tumble drier and boiler on that ring also. I even renewed the white goods but still have the occasional trip...

    Did I not say " ordinary single lamps " not floodlights or massive chandaleirs or sodium lamps or neon signs. And yes its so I can have another RCBO fitted for me freezer.
