Positive or Negative shower pump.. whats the difference..

Sounds to me that you do not have great mains pressure at the top of the house, I would stick with what you have as it worked if you get a pump with a slightly different pressure you might not be able to balance the temperature on the shower very well. A couple of notes. The pump might...

Positive or Negative shower pump.. whats the difference..

Can not really answer that as it depends on how restrictive the shower valve head or hose and handset is, if the items are for use on a low pressure system then you might get away with a positive head pump. You have two choices as far as I can see, either buy a negative head pump and it will...

Positive or Negative shower pump.. whats the difference..

The taps being higher than the pump will not make any difference. But I think you are best going for a neg head pump as well.

Grundfos Home Booster not going above 3.6 bar

Cor thats a nice work of art! I am not too sure about what you are saying as to the max static pressure they will produce when they first released them I did not think they have changed apart from the cover made more modern, not that I do not believe you. As it stands with the current...

    Jacuzzi bath temperature

you should not really need a separate set of taps if it is thermostatic you will not be able to get 100% hot water out of a thermostat. you can adjust the max temp to within say 5% of the supply temp, so try to adjust thermostat first, remove the temp handle and it should become clear if not...

    Jacuzzi bath temperature

Sorry can not tell from that picture, if it is thermostatic then you should be able to calibrate the incoming temperature. check the temp of the supply pipes to see if it is the same as the water flowing into the bath if it is noticeably hotter if it is then it will be thermostatic.

Grundfos Home Booster not going above 3.6 bar

I thought that it used a 8 liter pressure vessel not an accumulator as such? I think the max pressure you will get is 3.6 bar as a closed head situation and you can only adjust the cut in pressure on these transducers so you are not adjusting the pressure you are adjusting the point at which...

Positive or Negative shower pump.. whats the difference..

It could be an electric in that case pump should be neg head and maybe ST better choice as they have a smaller one which would be better as electric showers have a low flow rate, or some people have pump from cold on combi systems to effect the flow of the combi less by slowing the refill rate...
