Try a universal TC. You can get these from any supplier.I'm surprised that your plumber didnt carry one of these in his van! The TC can also be tested for a fault using a (would you believe it) TC tester.

The answer is NO! You will have to take the cold to your pump from the cold water storage tank.

Unvented would be ok but pipes need to be well insulated.You will have to get a guy who is qualified to do this as they are a potential bomb if not fitted correctly.Plenty of these things are fitted in garages.

Viessmann boilers are giving a 10 year guarantee on its heat exchanger. New to this country on the domestic side but are meant to be the dogs wotsits in Germany.

This should really be an HE boiler as its after 1 April.Are you exempt from this scheme or are you not bothering with a CORGI fitter? :wink:
