think i may have gotten confused with the "automatic air release valve" I tightened up the tyre like valve on top of the pump. Should the valve ontop of the pump stay shut? Thats the only 1 i have played with.

sorted it - just as gasafeengineer said just keep going bled pump, aut valve, filled, bled for another 2 hours and all back to normal now. thanks for your help, sorry for the ramblings

Tony, What I'm trying to say is: Hot water on own - ok Heating on own - ok Can't have both on together. If heating on and I turn hot tap on the heating stops and then starts back up again when the hop tap turned off.
