Thanks. I dug it out and it looks pretty simple. Any reason why I can't fit an aluminium spigot to the existing pipe with a double polypipe cuff? I figured the aluminium might be more durable against the lawnmower!

I have the pipe pictured below on my front lawn. It has no cover and the pipe is cracked. It runs off at about 45 degrees and I'm assuming it's some sort of Rodding Access for the drain that runs to the houses? Other rodding covers I've seen online seem to have screws at the top and bottom...
