    will this work ok?

it wouldn't surprise me if a boiler that size had 1" if not 1 1/4" tappings. I'd be looking at two smaller boilers cascaded anyway, but that is my domestic slant on it. Dan has already passed it onto the relevant critics...

    will this work ok?

it would have to be properly sized but with that kind of heat input your getting into commercial installation so you start talking low loss headers, shunt pumps, 35mm primaries, huge gas pipes supply etc etc! I'm primarily domestic but I'm sure you'll incur the wrath of the commercial boys...

    will this work ok?

You may find that you'll need to have bigger primaries than 22mm to get that kind of kw passed through them all at once. i'll do it for £19.5k (but this isnt binding)

    Gas pipe sizing issue

After reading your long winded post my advice is to get a gas fitter in to sort it properly. He/she will tell you what it required and the final price will include everything to make that installation suitable to be passed by building control. Then let them worry about getting the 28mm pipe...

    Leak coming from near HWC

The likelihood is that they are The same product fitted at the same time to the same system, so the chances are they are experiencing the same fault. Not a massively odd coincidence. Every one of these I've seen recently has been leaking. Simple to swap, but get an RGI if you're not confident...

Is this taped wire attached to bolier dangerous?

It's worse than the chicken or egg debate. We all know it was the egg.

Is this taped wire attached to bolier dangerous?

I am from Leeds indeed! First yplan free? I've got part p so I an do it myself, but then again, what does that even mean! You're point is a good one, but its like anything isn't it. Some plumbers can plumb, but that's life. That wiring in the ops picture is just appalling and no self...

    Boiler flue needs resited?

There are a few options on this one, one being relocating boiler, one being extending flue in a different direction and one being taking it out through the conservatory. Depends on what is practical and what will comply with the regs. But you may struggle to get addition flue for that boiler.

Is this a good deal for a new boiler??

Putting your neck out there PVM! I'm inclined to agree with you though considering I've fitted more of the ideals in the last year and non of the Worcesters. For the op... The ideal is all brass inside, where as the WB is plastic. The ideal is actually better value... But I shouldn't say...

Is this a good deal for a new boiler??

The Cdi is just a better made boiler, different insides completely. Good price for the boiler if that is the full price fitted. My only concern is that if you are running a mixer shower(??) then a 25kw may be a bit low on power. But if you have an electric shower then get it fitted at that price...

    What is method statement?

Stick with it man, im sure you'll figure out ways around hearing for faults and issues. Like the FFD/FSD for example... You can use the ugauge to prove its failing to safe, and technically it is much more acurate than feeling for a click. Plenty of engineers with the ability to hear have...

    pumping central heating water

At least you can pipe up the Worcester jig before your crane turns up to put the boiler in. I suggest solar at the same time as you'll have to have the roof tiles off.

    flueless gas fires

I've done 8 landlord gas inspections on flueless gas fires and each one has had to be capped for one reason or another. Main faults: Permanent vent not big enough Permanent vent wrong type of vent One was producing stupid amounts of co And this is one the customer fitted themselves...

Glow worm combi boiler 30 cxi

And there is definitely power to the socket/fuse spur? There is a fuse on the main board inside the boiler, it could be that that has blown. but chances of there being a replacement at this hour is slim as its not a regular sized fuse. After that, you will be needing to contact your installer.

    7 year leak under bath!

Inventive trap that is. Wow, some people literally think of everything. Reminds me of a few apprentices, they work in lidl now.
