How could I repair this plaster damage?

After removing the loose bits, I would slap on a generous amount of "No Nonsense All Purpose Filler" from Screwfix and sand down with a power sander after 24 hours. It might be a generic Screwfix filler but it's ready mixed and decent, and you'll get the job done for 3 quid.

    Vaillant boiler code S7

Even if the experts on here manage to diagnose the fault, it is very unlikely that they will be able to talk OP through implementing the solution. She needs to call a pro in.

Does central heating perform differently at different pressures?

Thanks footprints! Is there any value in having pressure be as LOW as permitted (accepting that a small drop could cause the boiler to shut down). I'm thinking less strain on joints, valves etc

    Kudox radiators, never again

Surely you've picked up a suitable screwdriver over the years. To be fair though, even the guys at Screwfix couldn't get it open so I'm sure none of us could either. ;-)

Does central heating perform differently at different pressures?

Let's say we have 2 system boilers on closed systems pressurised within permitted tolerances. 1 pressurised to 0.9bar when cold (reaches approx 1.3 when hot) 1 pressurised to 1.4bar when cold (reaches approx 1.8 when hot) Will these systems perform differently? Is there a benefit to higher...

New system boiler . Changing start up settings(auto)

------ There'll be an electricity cable going into your boiler. Trace that back to what is normally a junction box. Find the cable that goes to the spur switch. Turn that switch off. Leave off for 1 year or until PCB battery loses its memory. Turn back on. Follow on screen instructions...

Seems like what the fitter said is reasonable to me. You've got this far DIYing so why not continue. ;-)

    Exterior Ply

I need some timber sheets for an outdoors project, and I'm struggling to find something suitable. A visited the local DIY stores and the Plywood rated for exterior use seems crap. The laminated sides seem to separate and peel off really easily, and I can't imagine it holding up when I cut it...

Can you identify this shower wall outlet?

I suspect it's just a cheapo no-brand one but it does the job and I'd like to put one in my second bathroom for consistency. Cheers!
