Sounds like the ignition lead is arcing out on casing. Have senn it many times replace lead or move it usually cures said problem.

If yhe pressure still rises after you have disconnected filling loop it could be one of two things either exp. vess. failed or needs pumping up or could be blocked exp. tube. The lack of hot water could be faulty diaphram partially blocked secondary heat exch. or flow restrictor not installed...

you can definetley take the expansion vessel oot without removing boiler from wall i have done it before

check pressure in new exp. vess had one the other week pumped up to 2.5 bar released pressure problem solved also bleed rads could have hydrogen in syst. due to previos problems

If you have enough height you can remove the expansion vessel without taking the boiler from the wall
