Scars and imperfections in multi finish

Cool thanks, I'll give that a go. Does it come in a tub premixed? Or a powder? Should I wet the area before applying it? Can you trowel it in? Again thanks.

Scars and imperfections in multi finish

I was wondering what you guys use to fill in the small scars and imperfections that are "sometimes" found in the skim coat once it's dried out. I know in a perfect world there shouldn't be any left , but sometimes the odd one can be missed.

render/pebble dash removal and brick cleaning

Speaking to my neighbor, who has lived in his house since it was build (50 years+) said that the house was pebble dashed in about 1979/1980. the majority of houses in the area don't have render/pebble dash on. Does anyone know of a good brick cleaner they can recommend?

render/pebble dash removal and brick cleaning

Thanks for the advice. Can you recommend a brand of brick acid i should buy? As for the 24%, i wasnt aware. To have more than 24% of a house rendered do you need to inform building control? What if the render was never a part of the original build? Thanks.

Had a front door fitted about a year ago, and all is fine with the door, no sticking or catching, however I have noticed that there is a small gap between the hinge side of the door and the frame and therefore I can feel a draft between the door and frame down the hinge side. So... How do I...

    25mm MDPE lagging

Hi, I'm currently replacing my existing lead water mains pipe with 25mm MDPE. My waterboard has stated that the if the MDPE pipe is to be laid within the floor void of the house "it should be adequately insulated to BS6700". Ok I agree that the pipe should be insulated (even tho. the current...

    Tiling Internal corners..how?

Hi, I'm currently tiling my bathroom and wondered what is the best way of tiling internal corners. Do i leave a small gap for grout? or push the tile on one wall all right up against the tile on the adjacent wall? Cheers, Mike
