    LOL ... Dry lining is plasterboard. Milligan . I wonder if your neighbour meant skimming the walls with Easi-fill? Its not self-levelling though , nor could anything applied to a wall 'self-level' :?

    I use paste stripping solution mixed in hot water and a large green scouring pad followed by sponging-off with clean water... Failing that , resort to lining-paper for a guaranteed perfect finish :wink:

    you should be able to cut out a small section using a stanley knife.. do you have a photo you could post here?

    I just checked in my van, this week its been ICI Polyfilla, last week it was Mangers and some Vallance...Theyre all much the same from trade counters from my experience :wink:

    I use caulk every day and the only time I ever see any signs of cracking is if I paint over it before its properly cured , you shouldnt need to prime it as its acrylic

    Easy Surface Primer (ESP)...

    Thats it, if you can get the second coat of gloss on within a day or two of the previous one it will chemically bond with the first (sometimes a tad longer for Weathersheild as it cures slower than internal gloss)
