    It can be, If you got a 15mm or 22mm feed into the tanks, the vent needs to be large enough to cope with the flow of water passing through in the event of a problem.

    Hmm, Running 10 - 15 could cause some problems with flow air and noise. Is it possible for you to rip out all of the 10, and just run the new 15 staight from the 22?? And in my eyes, not a good idea to be using compression on hw pipework, To much expansion/retraction =]

    I have a gainsborough electric shower at home, But the temprature isnt constant, Some days you will turn it on and it will be fine, others you can turn it on, put it on hot but it will be cold! Also the temprature is very sensitive, Even the slightest of turn can sometime make a drastic change...

    Yeah that should be ok, Obviously the total fall is set for how far apart the apliances are, But as long as there not a reallly fast flow is shoulb be fine. Just check it isnt pulling the seal from the sink waste. But yeah, All sounds good to me =]

    Same as seco says, once the weight of the basin is on there it shouldnt move at all. Ive never screwed / stuck down any of the padestals i have fitted, as long as there on a level floor then it should be find pal =]

    Hi mate Try getting a 2" one at both ends and maybe a reducer? Have you tried going into plumbing merchants and explaining the problem to see what solutions they can offer you? Sorry i cant be of much help mate

    Bath taps bought - but no rubber seal included?

    Alright mate. Yeah the rubber seal should be supplied with taps, it basically just gives a soft surface for the tap to tighten against , plus stops any water seeping through to the underneath of the bath! Pretty cheap to get, As joblogs has already shown, get them of ebay or any diy supplier...

    Hi guys, the seal around my bath keeps cracking. The feet are stood straight onto floorboards, should there be some other support there, some baton etc. to spread the weight? When resealing am i right in assuming the bath has to be full ?

    There is usually a small grub screw somewhere. But your sure there isnt so try genntly pulling upwards see if that gets it off :]

    Incomplete solder join...

    When im soldering t's i usually apply heat to all three outlets at one time, but just before i solder i apply a bit more to the end im about to solder, This usually works for me ;)
