    It's not an air issue, take the head of the TRV and see if the pin under it pushes down, you'll need something hard like a knife blade, it's to hard for your hand and please be gentle, also check the lockshield end and see if it's open, clockwise = closed, anti-clockwise = open

    I always use Armaflex, it is more expensive but it bends around corners so no need for cutting and fitting, use tape or cable ties every 300-500mm, job done, some will disagree as it is personnal choice but all good lagging will work fine.

    Thats why i specified Pegler, you'll never have a pegler brake or not work, also all gate valves should be opened all the way and then back half a turn to prevent sticking

    Stop draining the tank each time, either as already said fit isolation valves to each outlet or a gate valve (Pegler) on the cold feed from the tank to the cylinder and the cold feed from the tank to the cold outlets or just bung the holes with a rubber bung, you can buy bungs from any merchant...

    I have fitted many of the Honeywell, it offers all the features you want and many more, easy to use and not ugly, only downside is the batteries only last around 6 months, i have one in my house
