I have some MDF Bookshelves,to spray with water based eggshell I have been looking at HVLP and LVLP gravity feed I have a compressor with 24 LTS it gets up to 120 LBS Nozzle size ? Any thoughts would be great. Cheers Ian

Hi Burnerman Thanks for that The little barrel shaped things are about 5/8" dia and about the same length I presume the are heat sensors/cutouts,they are right on the the edge of the heat sink around the element, Have you any idea where I can buy these parts Cheers Ian

Hi The whirlpool clothes dryer has stopped getting hot, Can I test the element with a multi metre? Two little barrel shaped things with spade contacts look in a bad way can these also be tested. Cheers Ian

Make a template for the curved piece needed, cut the sections out of thin boards of pine, you may have to make sides out of a few pieces to save timber and exclude short grain stagger the joints on each side, screw through from each side.

The weather bars are usually only an 1"deep,its probably held at the ends,if you cut it in the middle and prize it up and pull it out in two pieces.That should do the trick

Marine ply is stamped BS1088 There has never been so much miss information in woodwork than about Marine ply I did like the one about salt,it actually preserves timber rain water is your enemy in boats Some is only moderately durable but is pukka marine ply Cheers Ian

Any pros and cons, Job;New Oak front door with Pippy Oak panels in exposed position,south facing The Osmo has one with mid oak colour any opinions. the client would not like the orange Ronseal look. Cheers Ian

I have no experience with saxon tools,Bosch green tools usually do well,BandQ discount them, Lidel do one for £29 that got to be worth a go.

Hi If the skirting has a square top just add extra skirting on top use a bead or rebate to help join the two sections, this is the traditional method of making up deep skirtings
