    Pan connectors usually have a number of sealing rings which make the seal into the soil pipe If the pan connector is pushed into the soil pipe and then pulled back out slightly the rings can deform and not make the correct seal Try taking the pan connector back out then push back in only Andy

    The Vaillant pro models have an external filling loop fitted. It's the plus models that have the 2 grey knobs. So you need to look for a filling loop somewhere on your pipework, then use this to pressurise. Andy.
