I had my boiler and flue checked last week and it's all fine.

Conversion of Shed to Workshop Pics

No, I meant the wall and roof vents, but I've just noticed that they actually go all the way through... not sure if they still provide any ventilation to the "cavity".

Conversion of Shed to Workshop Pics

He does have power and vents if you look here and here :)

    Martin Lewis -moneysaving expert

Having worked for him, he's a top guy. Genuine but very bossy and demanding :p Yes he does make a fair whack from the work he does, but he puts a lot of it into his charity which helps people who have hit financial difficulties (£100,000/yr, all money from his book sales and he pays all the...

How to stop the missus killing my broadband...

When you say "broadband" I assume you mean ADSL? If so, is the treadmill anywhere near your phoneline? As that will cause interference on the line, making the connection drop. Much like when your neighbour puts cheap chinese flashing lights on the outside of their house at christmas :x

    Set top box loses signal?

    There's the problem ;)

    Highway power supplies?

Ooo... what kind of sh*t? I've been reporting it to TfL as apparently Islington council don't have anything to do with street furniture.

    Highway power supplies?

There's a little box thing like your first picture on my way to work, no cover on it with live cables and bodgy looking choc-blocks hanging out, in a good wind they move about and you used to get some nice sparks, but someone has since flipped the trip on the box to off (or more likely, it...

    SUPERMARKET FOOD QUALITY

Also a member there too, but haven't been to one since I moved to London. Seems Costco are more popular/common here, whereas Makro is more common in the North.

    SUPERMARKET FOOD QUALITY

Same for me and my missus. Only time we really use costco is for booze at Christmas and booze when we have people over :) (and their killer fresh muffins, the ones the size of a dinner plate, pack of 12... mmmm)

    SUPERMARKET FOOD QUALITY

ASDA "fresh" fruit and veg is carp too. Everytime I go in there I see loads of rotton fruit and veg. Never bought anything from their "fresh" fish counter as it smells of fish (don't give me strange looks! Fresh fish doesn't smell)

    They didn't survey me... :(

    Is this acceptable?

If you're not happy with it, speak to your builder about it.

    Touch Switch In Mirror Dimmer

They were about £100 for a sensor and controller. Had them fitted for coming up to 2 years with no problems :)

    Touch Switch In Mirror Dimmer

We have these behind a couple of tiles in our bathroom for switching various 'mood' lights. Don't see why it wouldn't work behind a mirror - probably best to call them to check first.

    GU10 mini review!

Bear in mind the review was done a couple of years ago, back in 2007 ;)

    SKY+ Cable

Often called "shotgun" cable it is CT67 spec (or is it 65...), and is what most sky installers will use as it'll fit through the same size holes as CT100 cable. Upto 20m is fine for sky+/sky+hd. You can also get it as CT100, but it's quite difficult to work with.

    Thanks due

Yep, big thanks to my local council who now haven't emptied my bin for over 2 weeks (3 weeks tomorrow), yet can send lorry loads of guys round twice last week to distibute recycling bags/containers :x

    My Bathroom in Pictures..

When I did ours, instead of tiling the whole bit at the end I made a recess to fit a tray, which is filled with marble chips with little candles and a plant on top... stops the missus cluttering it up without annoying her because "it looks pretty".
