Should of used multi finish there seem to be many blemishes on your wall and will stick out when painted.

You say ready to be redone with one coat. You must use Two coats to acheive a good wall.

Sounds like u are being ripped off id charge about £400 for the extension.

PVA Wall then use 2 coats of multy finish plaster . To get rid of the tram lines get a decent trowel ,recommend Marshaltown stainless steel .

Just finished rendering and plastering the way roughcaster sugests an old barn in south wales a hell of a lot of work but the customer was well pleased with the results ,beats dry lining any day .

Not a problem for a decent plasterer to sort out,all he needs to do is pva walls and re sk :cry: im. You should see some of the walls ive had to re skim after people have had cowboys in.

The new plaster should be flat smooth and blemish free ,you should not be resorting to sanding the walls. Do not pay these cowboys and if you have get them back or report to trading standards. :x
