Do not pva just plaster straight onto board

Marshalltown yes wouldnt be without it,make sure its stainless steel though,will cost about £30 for a 14 inch trowel.

Damp the wall with a bit of water and skim it ,there should be no problems.

Dont forget to pva the wall. 8)

Adhesive should hold it fine.

Just stripped a whole house of wood chip with steamer with no problem at all. if some of the walls have blown badly use backing plaster if really bad chop out sections and patch with new board.

If u need it plastering give me the nod.

Scrape all the high spots off pva and skim.

Why not just dot n dab it then skim.

What i was trying to put accross was leave the basic prep work to the plasterer it takes very little time for the plasterer to scrape and prep the wall to his liking so best leave it to him. Any decent plasterer will prep the wall before skimming to the standard he requires :twisted:

Just get a plasterer to skim the walls no prep needed

Mabe you are closing down to early wait till you can touch the wet plaster and it barely leaves an imprint then close down.

Agree same mix unless its a large wall
