If i was you i would put lead on my dormar cheeks as apose to tiles.If its cost your bothered about then why not use pvc cladding,cheap and will last for many a year.

Dont waste your time mate.Sure clean with a wire brush ,this will do no harm but not a preasure washer.The only way any coating could work would be to remove every single tile from the roof and then paint other wise the full tile is not covered.Now if your going to go to all that trouble you...

Yes you can but you will need to counter batton it or as its a small roof just put some small pieces of wood under each lath where your going to nail it.The reason for doing this is so water does not get trapped behind you laths. :wink:

Make sure you remove loose pointing,clear with wire brush and wet otherwise it will not get a good hold.Personaly i use 3 to 1.
