There is no need for a DIYer to buy feb mix.Washing up liqiud will do no harm whatsoever. No need to buy feb to use a few drops then let it sit in the garage for 20 years. To the OP if you plan on using the rest of the feb mix some time soon then buy some,If not then take no notice of databall...

TINY HOLE IN FELT CAUSING LEAK..REPAIR POSSIBLE FROM INSIDE?

That will not last,it will move eventually. The only way to repair and it be 100% effective and for it to last is from the top side.Anything else is tempory aka botch job.

TINY HOLE IN FELT CAUSING LEAK..REPAIR POSSIBLE FROM INSIDE?

Silicone is not compatible with bitumas roofing felts. Will not stick.A short term repair could be acheived with blackjack, trowling grade.I must stress "short term".Any repair that would last needs to be done from the top side really.

I always use plastering sand but others dont, personal preferance.3-1 mix is fine, use feb or washing up liquid mixed with your water, you will find it alot easier to work with..Try bedding them one day and point another day.

Just use bog standard clear silicone. The stuff you mentioned is way overpriced.Try your local upvc supplier or failing that builders merchant.I pay £2 for mine, you should be able to pick it up no more than £3.
