    Yes you will need to contact the DNO to get your meter and supply moved. From what you have said I think you need to get an electrician in, no consumer unit, 4 cables and sockets and lights from the same junction box sounds like the house is overdue a rewire.

    Most wireless thermostats have a base unit what still requires connecting to the heating control circuit, so you could connect the base to this wiring then put the wireless part where you want.

    It looks like MCB's 3 and 4 are not used from your photos. If this is the case you could remove them, fit an RCD to the left and control the other MCB's on the left via this RCD. The other option would be to remove one of these unused MCB's and replace with an RCBO to protect the kitchen circuit...

    I would put the thermostat on the cooker circuit then you will be able to regulate the room and the cooker temperature at the same time.

    If you are sure the cable is no longer required then the best thing to do is trace the cable back to where it originates, disconnect it and remove it totally.

    If the boiler has output terminals for the pump you must wire the pump via the boiler. The way you have wired it means the pump will only come on when the valve sends the output to the boiler to fire. When the boiler cuts out when it reaches temperature the water still sitting in the heat...

    Trace the cable back to its origin and disconnect there or leave the back box sunk in the wall and fit a blanking plate. Do not just terminate the cable then plaster over.

    The programmable thermostat allows you to set different temperatures for various times throughout the day. The main controller will just tell the CH or HW to come on at a set time. Set main controller CH to constant then use programmable room stat to set temperatures.
