you may need to take the gasket out of the other side to 'loosen' the glass and beads. if not keep trying with something sharp, try one of the longest beads first and start in the middle

the most popular option ive seen used is kingspan, but you have to make sure the whole structure is thought through, certain things have to be thought about to make the roof work in the long run. im not even sure myself but ive seen a lot of 'cover ups' and im not very optimistic :?

they may need to take the beads off the side panel and wedge and pack the glass all around to stiffen the frame up a bit

most frames can be a-rated but it depends on a few things, like the efficiency of the glass/ size of the upvc frame etc. number 2 seems like the most 'upgrades' for your money. make sure you definately get in writing that you are paying for an a rated product. Trickle vents arent neccesary...

even if the bottom edge was sealed this would just send drained water to each side of the old cill, the concealed drain holes are about 8mm further up the frame because there are 'ribs' all the way round. the frame would have to come out to seal the holes, and even then you are relying on the...
