I just applied to renew my mortgage as the fix rate is up very soon,, best my man could get me was a 2yr fixed @ 6.09% with the Abby with nearly £1000 fees... So thought Id see if we can all compare deals we have just got or being offered as I know there are a lot who are renewing about now !!

No its easier as your removing it anyway if you just change the diaphragm plus you gotta strip the diverter where as if you just chage the unit then its a straight swap ..

You have to have a condensing boiler so you cant have another back boiler !!! All new boilers have a lot more in them to go wrong, just like cars these days... A system boiler will have dearer running costs than a combi and if it is fitted correctly and serviced regularl then there is no...

You can do it either way and we always look for the most direct route feasible! And I agree with the 28mm!!

Not if the diverter is faulty !! Why not play safe and replace the diverter ?
