Just thought that I would update you with the result. We went with a combi in the end. It's a Valliant as recommended on this site. The shower water pressure is just as good as when we had a pump and of course now we will never run out of hot water. Well chuffed!

We are having our system changed this week to a combi boiler. Therfore the plumbers will be removing the old hot water tank (I think they said it is a 35Litre tank). Should I ask to keep this and then take it to a local copper merchant? Are they worth anything? Cheers, Chris

The previous tenent/owner must have had Sky+. I believe that Sky+ needs two LNBs (bit attached to dish) and therefore 2 cables. Your box should work with either cable conected. You won't do any harm by plugging either one in anyway so just give it a go and see if it works. Chris
