    Make sure you are following the filling procedure correctly. These boilers are not exactly plug and play. This is to ensure that the heat ex. and the pump are purged. When you have located and fixed the leak get some inhibitor in the system. Andy.

    How much pressure are you loosing over what time. What pressure are you topping up to. What pressure is the system reaching when hot. Have you checked that the pressure relief valve isn't discharging. :?: Andy.

    It's sounding like a burst. Maybe a plastic fitting has 'popped off'. Boiler house freezing :?: Not sure about the gushing sound with the system off, maybe the pump is still running :?:

    Need to know what make and model boiler you have. No filling loop :?: Some boilers have 'built in' filling loops. Have you got the instructions for yours. How was it filled in the first place :?: Andy.

    Have you looked at the manufacturers instructions for the 838 :?: The gas rate on full load is 4.0m3/hr. You have a hob as well. Maybe a fire, I don't know. You will need some part of the pipework in more than 22mm. I would say go for the 837 imho. Andy.

    The advice you need here is from a registered gas installer on site. He should be able to calculate the pipe size needed. This is a 37kw boiler which is rated at more than your calcs show. You will almost certainly need some element of pipework above 22mm. Andy.
