hmm.. this could be alot of things mate, is the system sitting at a good pressure? pcb fuse possibly.. fan fault, pump fault gas valve fault, air pressure switch.. does it sound like the fan is on and the pump is running?

sounds like the man might be a bit of a di... lol try bleeding the pump by taking off the vent cap with a flat headed screw driver and give the pump a wee turn with the driver to make sure its moving ok. hope that works mate its just a suggestion, as i myself am a bit of a....

your concerns are understandable mate, i'm just saying i've not seen a pipe to a shower inside a wall lagged. You could always have a look about and see the thinnest insulation you can get and see if it would allow you to bury the pipe without taking too much of the block away.. let us...

fitted a few of these... the "cone-ish type thingy" lol goes onto the end of the waste hose outlet, then i've found that it take well with a mcalpine fitting 1&1/2" one of these...

mate i think the copper just plastered over will be fine I've done that hundereds of times :oops: and not had any problems... *touch wood* if its an internal wall I dont think insulation would be 100% required because I would imagine it would be difficult to bury insulated pipes in the...

Does the CH come on at all? even few a few seconds? its saying that the central heating is on stand by.. hmm :? do you have any external controls room stats etc.. make sure they are calling for heat.. I reckon it could be the CH sensor taking a false reading...

yeah.. so it turned out that it was just the termistors as suspected, changed them in no time at all. its all up and running again. cheers for any input people

I'm going to go with faulty gas valve/thermocouple.. the click you speak of will be the gas valve shutting but I could be wrong.. let us know when you get it sorted mate what it was.

ok so that i dont get ripped to pieces by everyone. I'm going to say get a big boy in lol. but say... if you had the manual and knew where the diverter valve was you could at least check the pin if you knew what your looking for but then again a big boy would be advised also make sure hes gas...

are you trying to get rid of this pipe? I'm going to guess its lead because they used that alot in the "old days" lol. turning the water off from the toby (wee cover on street outside your house with a W on it) should stop it, then fix the leak or cap the pipe..
