have u closed down the other rads to see if it will then flow throu this rad?

hi...u need to have the panel off (or able to see inside) and turn the water back on ...to spot where its leaking from...then u know what to fix

might it be a leak under the bath ?

bit of an old post ?...some rads have baffles to aid flow and direction of flow has to be observed

sorry will be more helpfull. electric showers should be mains fed (cold) not via a combi. as to whats wrong with it after that, dunno

assuming u dont have a combi...put the hot water (at the boiler/programmer)on and see if the pipe going into the tank get hot (pipe halfway down the cylinder) and comes out cooler (inline with the other but below it by about 12 inches)

a leak does not normally lead to air in a rad. is it open vented central heating system or sealed (combi boiler?)

yes...call the plumbing company back...the shower should now be fed from the combi...not the tank...both hot and cold from the mains/combi so u don't get different pressure problems re ur shower

he has a tank...might not be a combi 8) is the tank stat set aroun 60 ? does the valve close the water off to the dhw when it should ? turn the heatin only on and see if the hot water travels to the cylinder also

does it leak on the underside then ? needs tightning up with some large pump plyers...not over done but more than hand tight. is the cistern "body" aroun the opening smooth so the rubber makes a good seal ?

i use to fit the magnacleans, but have moved over to tf1 due to better design..ie drain point (good/better for adding chemicals)

could be slight blockage to one of the rad valves....just open the trv and the other side fully open ...see if that helps...open and close them a few times... still nothing...close the other rads down by closing the trv...see if that warms ur problem rad

u can/need have a slight incline..minimum about 1 inch a meter...if this does not meet ur outlet from the wall u have to put a 135 or 90 fitting on it

a bit more involved than that...go to manufactures website and have a look...some have some good diagrams

its the distance from the cws to the outlet (s) so placing the hwsc in the loft wont have any effect on performance...u will have to place the cws higher than the hwsc...obviously
