the boiler does fire up if the green light is on.... if you have recently turned it off at the button or switch it goes through a few minutes of filling the condense trap at low temp, but should eventually fire up is the room stat turned up and calling for heat ?

i dont know where they have turned it off...but yes.. they will turn it on at the meter and cap it there (disk cap in the pipe)...so you corgi man can come along and pipe up etc and do all relavent checks.. your corgi man removes the disk and hey presto,,gas flows through

i would be say no to you.. washing machines need the full 40mm waste pipe (albeit they come from smaller diametre hose..but pumped) CAnt you replace the 21.5mm overflow pipe from the boiler condence with 40mm and run both together in that

last one we did we got a cylinder stat (retro fit to existing cylinder) which was put up against the copper side of the sylinder and at the boiler end it when into a red connectot about 6inches down from some wires on the left hand side

if i told you your arrows are pointing the wrong way..ie flow goes into the top of the cylinder coil and comes out the bottom...did you fit the zone valve ?...does it open when it should ?...back to front ?
