think there is a regulation on how many you can have on one circuit,, cant quite remember without reading up on it again

1.0mm2 is fine, 1.5mm2 is normally used in houses in case the customer wants to install some additional lights. Therefore the cable can then handle the extra demand without re-wireing.

whats thw power of each downlight? remember you have a 6A Cb/mcb and 230v supply say each 1 was 60W P=u(V) i = 1380W 1.38kw Total power 0.26A you will use for every downlight at 60w correct me if i am wrong around say 24 downlights at 60W on full load approx
