Garage facelift with upvc cladding and one felt topping?

Almost correct. Once the gas gun is played on the existing underlay it will pull the bitumen out and bond. If the chippings are bonded in cutback, this will do the same. It will need very good cleaning first though. Quote sounds cheap to me.

Leaking roof lead on back apron of chimney

Existing gutter looks like code 3 to me, your stack needs pointing as well. You're off your head on that ladder. Get someone in to do the stack and the lead. Be the best 3-400 quid you'll ever spend.

    Flat Roof Leak

The brick upstand should of had a ply face fixed to it and the membrane carried up under the monoridge and then the ridge re bedded. If the roof is failing at the connection of the membrane and the substrate, it is the responsibility of the installer.

Existing large flat roof, want to deck it, approach?

If the felt is in good condition (Looks like its had some bodgy patches?) You can rest bearers on a loose felt pad and build your deck off that. Make it sectional and outlet panels built in for cleaning. The height of the parapet will needs to be 1070 mm to meet regs, you may have to have a...

leaking roof, would like your input

Looks like the original flashing was just masticed to the wall and has fell down. How can they charge you for that? Shingles also look like they have been overlayed on existing as well.
