Be careful, you will not be able to branch into anything lower than 450mm from the long radius bend of that stack... Since that bend is underground its hard to tell if the point at where your stack will join will be more than 450mm.

I wouldnt leave them in the charger if they are Ni-Cd batteries they need looking after properly. You will kill them very quickly if not.

If you are putting in concrete fixings you might want to consider a 1/2" impact wrench rather than an impact driver. I can only comment on Makita impact drivers but mine is faultless and with about 145N/m of torque its plenty for my needs.

It always makes me laugh when people say they can fix things like this in 20 minutes. Like you say its the time getting there, getting your tools, assessing the situation getting the materials and fixing the job which is not always straight forward, Draining down in 20 minutes? I don't think so...
