    How do you know he didn't check it ? It isnt done with soapy water, and you think that just because a cooker is brand new that theres no chance it will have any leaks on it ?

    You fitted it and tested it with soapy water ? So how did you test all the internal joints on the cooker that you can't get to with your soapy water ?

    The only ones rigid will be AGA's/Rayburns etc, solid cast iron cookers, no others will be rigid

    It was actually a 3 year old girl who died in Sheffield when she sat on the drop down door of a cheap import cooker that prompted the reg, there had been incidents though with the old cannon cookers too.

    Be prepared for it to cost alot, prima spares are notoriously expensive, it may be worth scouring the net for a fixed price repair, most probable a pcb fault.

    The ovens will all be LPG only, not only will the jets be smaller you also need to change the by-pass injector size, chances of getting them are zero as the manufacturers won't have them, plus the appliances won't be passed for use on nat gas either so they won't entertain you at all.

    You do realise LPG is more strictly regulated than natural gas don't you ? Plus it's more explosive :shock:
