    If the kit quality is fragile, you need to keep the weight down, so deck it then felt shingles. The shelter you picture looks to have tanalised shiplap and fairly new. It will split once its done a seasonal change.

    Foil faced insulation foil down onto joists, fix 12mm ply or OSB3 on top, you then have your deck. Tape joints in foil underide with appropriate tape. Bear in mind this will raise deck height and deeper fascias will be required.
