    As far as i am aware and i know i will be corrected if wrong... but under the 16th edition there is no requirement to install on a RCD. Although it is good practice to install them on one. (As I do) :wink:

    yes of course, there is an over lap though isn't there!!!!! Meaning that what has been quoted for is correct and totally aceptable... Or am i wrong as well on this??????????????????????????????? No don't think so

    Yes sounds about right. The new regulations have just come in and it is necessary install RCBO's on most circuits now.

    Ok i thought this would raise a few issues of different opinions. If i have completed a PIR and the property fails on absence of mains bonding, when the remedial work is completed i will add a minor works cert to the PIR. Sounds acceptable to me. :wink:

    yes of course working to bs7671. Ok so you do. So what do you record? Just state all circuit ways 'not tested' and just tick the bonding boxes etc. No values recorded.??? :?
