Hi James, If you have the eng code it is done through programming. Under programme zones put in 50.....yes and scroll through until programme buttons/fobs.

Been using Risco I Wise detectors for years and not had any problems.

With these alarms I would suggest you replace the battery in the main control panel if it is over 4-5 years old. If you are going to get an engineer then I would advise to get the system serviced.

As secariam says there are other panels out there that will do this. Texecom and Pyronix home control can be bought. I use Risco panels and cloud based platform but you need an installer to set up the cloud side.

If it's standard codes Enter 1234 Press no until select options Press yes Programme zone press yes That will stop the system from tampering until you get it fixed.

Jesus Sparky a bit close to your competitors lol. I'm going to order a panel but their equipment looks good. I've only installed Risco for the past 20 years so might jump ship.

Any installers used any of their equipment? Looks decent and they have wireless out now. Heard they are the old texecom mob so products should be top..... without all the updates. Any info appreciated.

I would go hardwired or a hybrid setup.

Sounds like it will be a gardtec/risco panel where you can lock the code even when the panel is defaulted.

Gardtec 600 will do what you require. Neat Keypad and has vo comm to dial phones etc.

British Gas installed this system in every new build they got up here in Jockland and the panel is decent but always replaced as no installer can maintain it. I have taken over a lot and the panel is always located in the master bedroom wardrobe..... god knows why!

I install Risco and their app/set up is much better than texe at the moment. It's up to you and I would go with how the installer comes across. Risco only deal with trade installers and if the system is set up right then you will have no problems.

Yeh Tyco have their own software in the Visonic kit.

Hi, Sorry I don't fit pyronix as I was just talking to another companies engineers and they had 14 of their home control panels throw this fault up all at random times. I would suggest you contact pyronix but I think they will have a software upgrade out fast.

Take cover off and snip the wires going to the sounder module.

This is a known fault that Pyronix are aware off. I presume there will be a software update out soon.

Press pro then enter eng code. If you don't have eng code then open panel and enter your number to silence. Once finished close panel and press reset twice.

I would advise you should buy a 2 way wireless system if the problem cannot be solved.

Just change the dip switches as stated then downpour system and power up. Both keypads should be recognised now.
