hello everyone, I would like to know how I would wire a Texecom exodus OH4W to a texecom veritas 8C, do i have to program a zone as fire? if so, how do I program it as fire? many thanks

I agree with bernardgreen, wired is better and it will challenge you more than wireless where nearly everything is done for you! I am no engineer, but i wired a texecom veritas 8c! Wired, you could go for a texecom veritas 8c(like mine) or a veritas R8.

where are the fire and PA terminals anyone? or do you have to program zones as fire,entry,inhibit,pa etc?

the panel's gone into an alarm condition, don't know about the installer's code sorry!

for wired, I agree with the others, premier 24 with an odyssey series bell, just pick your favourite shape, my favourite's the odyssey 3. for wireless you would be looking at the *COUGH* Yale 6400

yes that's it! i have an internal sounder and an external strobe( the kind on old bellboxes) wired to the bell and strobe terminals but forgot to put a link wire in the tamper as it's not used! thanks so much! ill post in a min with results

OK, I have connected mains and still have 24hr fault, suspect the 12v panel battery needs charging
