Hi any idea what this Frame sealant is .it looks and feels gritty and is a beige sort of colour still a bit soft to touch if pressed .the windows are timber framed double glazed .there on a old stone barn conversion .windows fitted about 10 years ago but need to replace sealant like for like...

Last week the spanner sign went orange and now I've got check emissions warning message on my dashboard, my van is traffic diesel sport model 2013 with 70000 miles and regular serviced , any information much appreciated.. plus it seems to drive normally, it's not in limp mode. Cheers

I've fitted a good few internal doors over the years but my sons house has a casing that measures 800mm by 1970mm so it's too wide for a standard door but too narrow for a 2ft 9" door as I know your limited to how much you can cut down by ,all the doors in the house are smooth finished so...

Just thought it would be easier to fit, and possibly cheaper. don't suppose it has to be, but need new larger hatch as one that in is only small and need to be able to get large suitcases up there

Yeah not seen ladders like them in my search, I'd av thought you could by a complete aluminium ladder with hatch kit but maybe have to buy separately

Been looking for a complete loft ladder with hatch kit but I can only find timber ladders with hatch, I'm after aluminum ladders with hatch but cant seem to find any..are they available anywhere?

Hi, got a down light that's stopped working, new bulbs don't work either so guessing it might be transformer, the bulbs are gu5.3, 4 watt, at the moment I can't get to the transformer as I'm away from home so need to get one for when I'm home, any ideas which type and voltage transformer will...

Hi got a leak under a bath on the 3/4 pipe to 15mm old soldered reducer, can't really get in with a blow torch to put new on so is there any kind of speed fit for reducing 3/4 copper down to 15mm, similar to the jg stuff, don't really want to remove bath unless I have to, possibly can get in...

hi bath fitting when ok but now I've noticed a pin head size drip appear on the 3/4 to 15mm reducer, looks like is failing on the soldering, is there such thing as a speed fit reducer rather than having to solder new joint as don't fancy taking bath bath back out, if so I'd cut back the 3/4 pipe...

I'm guna just try and come off the shower pipework just above where it's been joined in 15mm for both taps

House was built in 1950s n pipe work looks pretty much untouched until shower was added so guessing it's imperial up to that point

In old imperial copper sizes what was normaly fitted in domestic houses compared with modern 15mm n 22 mm sizes of today, the copper seems thicker too n more sturdy

That's good then so I can come off the 15mm shower supply that was added to the old 3/4 bath pipes, makes life a bit more Easy.. thanks
