    chateauroux boiler lock out

Each time ive repaired them by taking the solenoids apart and cleaning them, rather than buying a new gas valve (why kick a person when they are down, after all they've got a Chaffoteaux! :D ) The cost was £70.

    chateauroux boiler lock out

I've got my money on it being the Britony. Must have fixed half a dozen in the last couple of months. Each time it was the gas valve sticking. Agree with Chris. They fire at either full rate or a third.

    chateauroux boiler lock out

    LEAK UNDER BRAND NEW BATH

Check its not leaking via the bath overflow. The sealing washers that come with some overflows are dire. I always put a ring of good quality sealant at the back of the overflow before tightening it up

Potterton Puma (Mind of its own)

I'd start by thinking what could be making the combi call for heat. You say youve disconnected the clock so prob ruled that out. Could be a faulty programmer. Do you have a thermostat anywhere in your house. It could be faulty and switching the boiler on. Another possibility could be a...

Glow Worm 30 Ci losing pressure, slowly

Fill up to 2 bar and then isolate your boiler from the system. Isolation valves hopefully under the boiler. Use large flat screwdriver and turn them off. Wait a few hours or so and monitor the pressure. If it stays still then leak on the system. Check new repair -whos to say that isnt...
