    Shelving.. the old favorite!

Some better piccies: I used PVA glue (nonails type stuff). Its just to keep the rods from moving around over the years. Basically, if anyone tries to remove them, they will probably take large chunks of plaster, as well as lots of brick dust, with them The glue also forms a seal...

    One-way Glass

If you don't trust your nanny, you shouldn't be spending money on cameras, you should be getting a new nanny. That said, there are plenty of security consultants that will offer good advice on what you would like to do. The best options are disguising cameras in box files (through the little...

    Loose & flaky paint

I'd either line it, or get the whole lot replastered properly. Nitromors is easy to use for stripping paint, but if its directly off plaster, you might need to start filling holes and marks created by your scraper.

    how to reduce condensation

Open your windows, its the only way to get rid of the condensation. A more expensive way is to reduce the moisture at its source - wet clothes, baths, sinks, showers, tumble dryer, cooking. Do you have lots of plants in the house?

    bifold door

Hi there I have a doorway in my kitchen that leads to the under-the-stairs larder. The opening is 77.5 x 30 inches, 1.5 inches thick. Because of the kitchen worktop, I need a bifold door. I have found a local manufacturer who can supply a glazed 78x30 door, with track (track included in...
