    Flex or T&E?

There is no reason whatsoever (other than price!) that flex cannot be used for fixed wiring.

Cooker & Induction Hob Wiring into single outlet

4.4kW is more than 16a, so it isn't designed to go on a standard 16A European circuit, which means you might get away with connecting it to your 32a cooker circuit directly. However, Bosch MIGHT specify a 20amp supply. Ask them directly. Don't ask "what supply does it need", as they will...

    More bondage (for the 2391)

Ignore the crap given to you by that idiot Dingbat, if you want to know about bonding I suggest you refer to the esteemed Mr Cockburn's fine publication on the subject.

Replace one way switch with PIR

You can use a standard lightswitch as long as it's outside the zones. Zone 3 doesn't exist anymore, so if you're 0.6m away from the bath/shower tray, then you're outside the zones and can fit standard accessories. Personally, I wouldn't - but you can if you so wish. PS. If you go for the...

    This "fishy" smell ??

Loose connections on the backs of sockets and other accessories. The loose connection causes an increase of resistance. This causes heat (Power dissipated equals I squared times R, remember). The heat causes damage to the connection which further increase the resistance, and so it continues...

cable in cavity on external wall?Channel in brick or capping

One would hope that these men would not drill through safe zones. Or do you assume that SUNRAY's local builders have ran the services in a willy-nilly zig-zag fashion, just because they can?

To downlight or not to downlight that is the question?

Why not just use a couple of nice reccessed luminaires with GLS lamps in them? Pendants aren't the only form of "non-downloghter" light fittings you know. Far be it for me to agree with Banal-sheds, but he is right on this; downlighters are not good at lighting a room, hence the reason that...

navigating at faster than light speed?

This would be notifiable work. Are you competent to travel at faster than light speeds? I really think you should employ an astrophysicist (check that they are a member of a competent persons scheme first)

Cooker & Induction Hob Wiring into single outlet

The main consideration is the manufacturer's requirements for the fusing of the oven supply. You most likely have a 30/32 amp cooker supply (possibly 40a), the hob will connect straight to this no problem. If the MI say the oven can go on a 30/32a circuit, then connect the oven too using the...

    Box room

How about: A small white round thing on the ceiling, with a hole in the middle. A short bit of white flex coming out of the hole. Some kind of device for holding a lamp on the end of the flex. A lamp in the device for holding the lamp. Some kind of apparatus for shading the lamp...

Where/how to plug in my portable hot tub?

You say your back room is simply a utility room, so just run a cable clipped to the wall from the nearest socket to where you wish it to exit to your external socket.

Where/how to plug in my portable hot tub?

:?: What do you mean? (genuine question) I was under the impression that the OP has a hottub plocked in the back of his yard, with a trailing flex that will plug in when he wants to use it. Are you talking about specific rules about hottubs and suchlike used outdoors?

Where/how to plug in my portable hot tub?

For crying out loud, what is going on here? OP - Are you saying that you have a hot tub that is sat outside your back wall and you want to plug it in? Find a socket on the inside of the back wall. Take it off and remove the backbox. Drill a hole in the wall. Mount a weatherproof socket...

    Two way switch and feed.

I can't see any pictures :?: Anway, from what I think you have explained, you need the neutrals from the T&E supply and T&E to light connected in a choc clock. Then put the line from the feed in to L1, and the line from the light cable in to L2.
