Hi again, right. All fitted. As you suggested, the Syvac aspirator is just pushed in to the tailpipe. Seal pushed to end of spigot and then gently lowered on to the pan. All works as it should. thanks all for your help. :D

Hi all, I've looked at many posts here to do with these little bas%%%%ds. I need to replace the siphon and the aspirator. I think I understand the principle but my one question is should the aspirator body be able to freely move up and down within the downpipe of the siphon? I'm assuming not...
