been reading a little and seems the bypass should be off because there are 3 ports for the water to flow? I think this is for the over-run? I just need know should this be open or closed and why.

well upstairs theres 5 rads, i think 2-3 have tvrs, then other are normal. I found it in the closed postion initially. Whats this bypass for? Shall i just leave it closed as the rest of the rads in the house are normal plastic turn valves.

i'm talking about the red valve, not the box on the 3 valve pipe. :P

hi all, just want to know if someone can tell me what this last valve is for? Do i need to turn it on or leave it off? Currently its leaking at the valve so might try and see if i can tighten it somehow. Cheers!

thanks matt, I've ordered a new PCB (looked at the recon one too but decided not to), will wire this on sat and fingers crossed this fixes it. If not then at least thats one thing down

do you know how long is the timer, is it always the same? well if no objects by monday, i guess i'll order it. Shall i get a brand new one or a refurb one? 100 new or £35 refurb?

Yes i think i got it mixed up, terminal 1 should be ground which is green/yellow. From memory, that extra junction box is not needed, it matches going in and out, possible someone spliced it and put this box there to look 'fancy'. I will double check then re-wire back in. The last...

what is SW? the 4th block from the left is constantly live and this was where the pump was connected to. thats where the live cable for the pump was connected
