How can i work out the size of cable for cooker?

also depends on the length of cable, 4mm cable will carry 32amps but most sparks put 6mm in for cookers to be on the safe side and allow for bigger cookers being installed later

    garage electrics

also depends if there's paving or concrete etc going over, cable should be on a bed of sand, with sand above too, and warning tape, ideally in a straight run with both ends visible so it's obvious where it is or a plan drawn showing where it is, and of course notified etc

Domestic Electrical Installation Periodic Inspection Report

altering the main bonding can alter the earth loop impedence readings slightly by altering the resistance of parallel earth paths, and the prospective fault/short circuit currents, sounds like sparky A doesn't want to come back, but only he can alter one of his certs

How to tell if a circuit is on an RCD?

From the pictures, I didn't see a 6A breaker on the RCD side so unless your lights are on a 32A breaker or similar, they are not RCD protected, I would recomend fitting a RCBO for that circuit as the best way to solve your problem, and you would then have one more circuit which complies with...
