    Decent cordless screwdriver

not really - the durofix is a 10.8 volt with a 15 minute charge time - you will not run one battery out while the other is charging , anyway after a hours hard screwing you'll be ready for a cuppa

    Decent cordless screwdriver

the bosch is good (the driver not the impact driver ) the makita is a bit of a toy - the durofix is the dogs danglies of small drills . we've been selling them since last september and have yet to see a faulty one

    Decent cordless screwdriver

either go for the bosch gsr10.8 which is a good bit of kit or look for the durofix 10.8v which is more powerful and faster than the bosch. Not impressed with the bosch 10.8v impact driver , its very slow - again the durofix 10.8 impact driver is a lot better as regards the lithium batteries...

    SDS core drills

1 / bosch give a 3 year warranty if you bother to register on-line 2/ if you want it for diamond cores over 2" dont waste your money on a sds drill , from a safety aspect the clutch kicks in too late , you would be suprised how many sds core adaptors ive seen broken or twisted 3/ get a...

    Bosch Rebrands... JFS?

makita 2450 is now discontinued , replaced by the 2470 the bosch is arguably the better tool (if nothing else has a 3 year warranty) as for the re-brand , cant see it being a genuine bosch , maybe reconditioned ?? but why re-brand a known make to something unknown and sell vastly cheaper...

Erbauer tile saw - any good?

if you want to cut porcelain then you need a blade which is capable of the job - the blade that comes with the saw is not try a norton supergres or a spectrum sl (which is cheaper than teh norton and does the job better)

    Poor Lithium Ion Batteries

may be a idea to send the batteries back to makita - they have a chip in them that will tell how many charges the batt has had etc i would expect makita to swop anything that isnt up to scratch

1/4 inch arbor for makita btp140??

think you'll struggle to find a 1/4" arbor for any holesaws over 32mm , i'm sure that makita do a chuck to fit that drill but i would think that using a 1/4" shank of any description on a large holesaw will probably snap it I'm afraid that if you bought the 4-way drill for holesaws you may...

dont tar everyone with the same brush , a lot of people behind a counter know what they are talking about - If you go to a "proper" shop or builders merchants anyone who shops in places like B&Q deserves to get told crap (that should get some comments :D :D :D )
