The strange thing that happened is that you don't understand 2 way switching. Look it up on here it might help you but you are messing with lots of live switch wires and loop wires so you may need a tester yo help you out. You need to find the loop wire and the other loop wire that feeds...

Not your thread. I think its the people that ask about wiring a garage from the house C/U and a garage C/U and the people that ask about light switches and fittings. Your thread was more about where to put conduit which is a fair question tbh.

Its not hard if you cut them tightish and push them flush with the bottom edge leaving a gap behind it.

Its the roof that needs to breath not the foil so it only needs a gap at the top. If you ram it full of the other stuff the roof will not be able to breath.

It will be a bathroom light.

I think the drawings for the loft told us to use 150mm celotex between the rafters leaving a gap between the roof and board letting it breath and I think the other board is acting as a vapor barrier. Seems to be working ok.
