bathrooms smell bad, despite AAV fitted

I am the highest up of 4 terraced houses, on the end. There was no AAV fitted on the stack in question when I moved in, it opened into the attic. Another stack on the other side of the house vents through the roof.

bathrooms smell bad, despite AAV fitted

I’ve bought some manhole keys, will get a mate to help lift it. I think the sewer goes along the back of 4 houses, and I know the last one (lowest) has had problems with blocked drains. Would I need special equipment to unblock the drain or can I use a hose?

bathrooms smell bad, despite AAV fitted

I have a bathroom above a shower room, sharing a soil stack. When I moved in there was a bad smell in the attic and black mould above the soil stack which was venting open into the attic. This didn't seem right so I fitted an AAV in the top. However, since then there is a bad smell in both...

How can I strengthen this squeaky new floor?

They used spax screws so it shouldnt have jacked up? It does feel a bit like the board is coming slightly off the joist though, but equally it could be the joist is twisted a bit, they were in a bit of a state and had to be cemented into the wall properly

How can I strengthen this squeaky new floor?

There are 4 across the boards at the moment so putting in 3 more screws makes 10cm spacing (4 inches), is that too close?

How can I strengthen this squeaky new floor?

Im pretty sure there are no services along that joist, I had a look when the floor was up. Can too many screws weaken the board? 10cm spacing ok?

How can I strengthen this squeaky new floor?

Is it worth putting in extra screws? There are only four screws across the 600mm span. Could I put them every 10cm instead of 20cm, or could that weaken the board?

How can I strengthen this squeaky new floor?

This floor was replaced recently because the joists were not level and the boards were in poor condition. The joists have been levelled with additional timber, and the new 22m chipboard is glued and screwed in place (although in this room I can’t see as much glue in the cracks, i think they must...

I’d like to upgrade my patio with flagstones of some kind. Currently its concrete pavers layed onto grey gravel and probably sand. In the area highlighted top right the patio has sunk by up to 10cm. There is a sleeper retaining wall at the top and right. I want to extend the patio all the way...
