It a little plug with a wire to it on the flow, its dry (no drain down needed) and will come out with a 13mm spanner

There is the problem the thermostat should be at the bottom, switch them about and see what happens

Ch heating thermistor mate, its a £3 part which you can change yourself and if (when) it works insist that your divertor is changed back and do not pay for a bad repair job.

Looking back on your posts you have asked several questions regarding a varity of things. Are you a plumber or just really unlucky. If plumber then let us know you are stuck with something other than making out its at home. You will get more help that way :D

I have not personally fitted this boiler but i love Potterton and Baxi products and they are all i fit unless specifically asked otherwise.

Guess system has been changed to a combi then!! You may have no end of problems now my friend but have nothing to lose trying internal sealant.

Does it fire or even show that its calling for central heating?

Due to the seal between the burner and electrodes, if you remove them it states in the MI to replace with new seal (I Beleive), if i dont have new seal then i would have to take full burner out.

Well i respect you for answering honestly i really do. I would rather give up 4 minutes of my time and know im fine than not, but hey each to their own.
