    Is this a possible Ripoff?

Do the good old faithfull, if this company are rip off merchants which in this case they are, send a recorded letter stating that you will be going to traiding standards, that program on BBC (not watchdog but the man with the motor bike one) and especially mention Gas Safe. I dont think Gas...

    Baxi duo tec 24HE - E133 Fault

Hey There Baxmax Would you really class this as part of a service on a Baxi. Only reason i ask is that my boss does not like us to remove burners on sealed HE models unless they fail our Analyser test. I still check EV and all such like but cannot check spark gap unless i remove the burner...

    Baxi duo tec 24HE - E133 Fault

I beleive that this will be a gas valve problem and sorted with a replacement. Although firstly you should listen to when the boiler actually does fire up as if it makes an excessive noise(you should know the noise of your boiler) then it could be as simple as the spark electrode out of place...

    W/B Combi 24LE

In theory (dont know this model of the top of my head) it should be a big Red Circle shaped thing behing the boiler with a tyre air inlet on top. This should be at at least 0.8 bar (tested with any regular tyre pressure tester) if not it needs to be repressurised

    BG Strike

I bet the BG Employees dont like the term "Customer Exploitation" being banded about as it must be the man in the van doing it as they deal with the customer not the Top Dogs.

Baxi Combi Boiler 80e Printer Circuit Board PCB has blown?!

When you say you have seen a few do you mean a few Baxi PCB's or a few PCB's? I only ask as Baxi's are normally more than reliable for blowing the 1 of the 2 PCB fuses before the board itself with any fault on either the pump or fan, however i cannot think of anything else that would blow the...

    BG Strike

I can honestly say the only problem i have with BG is their (not their engineers) insesint push on the vunrable and scared with how they need new boilers, and the terms they use towards these people without ever explaining why they need such items. I went to a job recently where a Cast Classic...

Y plan or S plan for unvented cylinder and boiler

You are misunderstood Y plan can do both at the same time just as an S Plan can however you only ever have one valve to go wrong instead of two.
