Thanks for that, Presumably, the only thing I can do to reduce this steep angle is to replace with an 'L' shape stairs, say three steps up, then 90 degree turn up the rest. Is this sort of thing available 'off the peg' or would it have to be custom made? Ball park figure for something like this?

Any thoughts anyone please? Thinking of buying an above ground pool where the recommended heater is 12Kw. This is obviously going to pull 50A, however the main incoming fuse is only 60A. Is this too close for comfort given that I may be cooking my dinner at the same time as heating the pool...

Many thanks for your reply, but further investigation has proved that the door interlock is faulty. By removing it and linking the live feed to the switched output I can run the machine. Are these parts easily available??

Many thanks for this, except the problem is that the door remains locked indefinately. I left it all night last night, and the door was still locked this morning. I'm guessing that the most likely cause is a faulty interlock rather than a problem with whatever controller gives the signal to release?
