connecting new toilet to existing waste pipe/sewer drain

As long as you have access/rodding chamber to any change in direction you are fine per building regs. Most inspectors will not mind a change in direction of the run is less that 2 metres to the nearest access/inspection chamber so have a chat with them and show them your plan. Pete

Can soil pipe be chased into a wall?

Hi Alan ideally change it all to plastic. You have a few issues if you chase it into the wall you undermine the integrity of the structure. I am not too sure if you need a change of direction in the soil pipe to get it where you want. If so a nightmare in terms of fittings in a tight confined...

    Unvented system quote

You would have to convert to a sealed heating circuit for a rad in the loft. A standard 5m head pump on full speed should suffice, however it all depends on the existing load, your installer will be able to advise. If you are going for an unvented cylinder then the loft shower should be fine...

    Unvented system quote

You are mixing up an unvented hot water storage cylinder which distributes the hot water to all outlets with mains pressure. The heating system is pumped around a dedicated circuit by a pump (which can be sealed or vented) unless it is very old and works on a gravity system. Pete

Are you a plumber by trade or as in your title a diy plumber. I only ask to get your level of competency and to advise you accordingly. The boiler is a combination boiler, it even says so on the panel  The mixer taps you linked will still only dribble out if the flow and pressure...

Depending on whatever model you have 60 degrees is low as most stores operate at 70 degrees and higher. Has it always been 60 degrees? Pete

    Hot water suddenly lukewarm

How old is the system what is the make and model. What is the temp of the thermal store? It could be a few things, possible limescale coating the mixing valve and heat exchanger. Incoming mains colder since summer is apparently over. Pete
